A Closed Mouth...

My students and I were reading aloud from our Junior Scholastic. This magazine has a bevy of articles on current events, etc. One of the articles was on the most boring day in history. It stated that April 11, 1954 has been established as the most boring day ever because there were no major events or important births or deaths on this day. After reading the article I stated to the kids, "See. You think some days are boring now, but you weren't even alive for the most boring day ever," to which a student responded, "were you?"
