Worrywarts

Yesterday one of my students came up to me very concerned and asked, "Is it true that Obama is going to raise taxes?"  I replied that that was only something we should concern ourselves with in the event that Obama becomes president.  Another student then shouted to me, "Who are you going to vote for?!"  I had to then explain that asking someone who they are going to vote for is similar to asking them how much they weigh.  It simply isn't done.  Mind you the child concerning themselves with this issue was not the one who skipped out on their homework to watch the debate.  That's another post.  :)
